Registration

Registrations for the Grassroots Writers Weekend have now closed but places may be available in some individual workshops. Please consider placing your name on our waiting list by emailing Lorraine at lmproject@bigpond.com.

If you have already registered for the weekend but have not yet paid your registration fee of $25 you only have until 30 April to do so. See below for details about payment.

If you have registered and paid you now need to book in to the workshops you want to attend. Go to the Workshop Bookings page for information about how to book in for the various sessions.

The cost of attending the 2015 Grassroots Writers’ Weekend is $25 per person. This entitles you to attend all sessions and receive session materials. Morning and afternoon teas are also included in the cost of registration.

Please note that main meals and accommodation are not included in the registration costs. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are the responsibility of the participant. The Grassroots Writers’ Weekend is being held in the centre of Coffs Harbour with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within a few minutes walk of the venue.

The optional Grassroots Writers’ Weekend dinners are not included in the cost of registration. Details of the optional dinners are:

  • Friday night BBQ Dinner at the Coffs Harbour Community Village – cost is $25 per person, (includes entertainment).
  • Saturday night 2 course Dinner & Poetry/Writing Slam – cost is $30 per person.
  • Both dinners will be held at the Coffs Harbour Community Village.
  • Please inform us of any dietary requirements when registering for the dinners.

Once your registration and payment has been confirmed you will receive an email (or letter if you don’t have email) containing an interactive PDF which is the Workshop Booking Form. Fill in the form and return it to the email address advised on the form before 30 April.

Workshop numbers are limited so you may not receive your first preference for all the workshops but we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Don’t forget, bookings for the concurrent workshops are now open. Once you have registered and paid for the weekend you can book the workshops by going to the Workshop Bookings page. Numbers for the workshops are limited and may fill quickly, so book now. Workshop bookings close on 30 April.
